You can change the Facebook app auto play settings at any time.
To change this setting on your Android phone:
1). Open the Facebook app.
2). Tap one three line at the top.
3). Scroll to the bottom and tap Settings & Privacy, then tap Settings.
4). Scroll down and tap Media and Contacts.
5). Tap Auto-play. (Select C Option)
Tap to select from the following options:
A. On Mobile Data and Wi-Fi Connections
B. On Wi-Fi Connections Only
C. Never Auto-play Videos
Autoplay videos begin automatically as you scroll. Videos use more data than other posts on Facebook, and may affect your mobile data plan.

When you change your settings, you can select from the following options:
A). On Mobile Data and Wi-Fi Connections: Videos will autoplay using a mobile data connection. The data used depends on the amount of time you spend watching a video. If you scroll past an autoplay video in News Feed, your phone will use less data than if you stop to watch it for a longer period of time.
B). On Wi-Fi Connections Only: Videos will autoplay only when your phone or tablet is connected to Wi-Fi. If you're using Facebook on a mobile data connection, you'll have to click on a video to play it. If you click and play a video while using a mobile data connection, it will use mobile data.
C). Never Autoplay Videos: You'll always have to click on a video to play it. If you click and play a video while using a mobile data connection, it will use mobile data.
Note: You may need to click a video to play it, even if your autoplay settings are On Mobile Data and Wi-Fi Connections. This could happen if the mobile connection is slow or if you've used a large amount of mobile data recently.
