How to stop autoplay video in Facebook app

On Android Phone

You can change the Facebook app auto play settings at any time.
To change this setting on your Android phone:

1). Open the Facebook app.
2). Tap one three line at the top.
3). Scroll to the bottom and tap Settings & Privacy, then tap Settings.
4). Scroll down and tap Media and Contacts.
5). Tap Auto-play. (Select C Option)

Tap to select from the following options:
A. On Mobile Data and Wi-Fi Connections
B. On Wi-Fi Connections Only
C. Never Auto-play Videos

Autoplay videos begin automatically as you scroll. Videos use more data than other posts on Facebook, and may affect your mobile data plan.
You can change your video autoplay settings at any time. Learn how to stop videos from playing automatically in your News Feed.

When you change your settings, you can select from the following options:

A). On Mobile Data and Wi-Fi Connections: Videos will autoplay using a mobile data connection. The data used depends on the amount of time you spend watching a video. If you scroll past an autoplay video in News Feed, your phone will use less data than if you stop to watch it for a longer period of time.

B). On Wi-Fi Connections Only: Videos will autoplay only when your phone or tablet is connected to Wi-Fi. If you're using Facebook on a mobile data connection, you'll have to click on a video to play it. If you click and play a video while using a mobile data connection, it will use mobile data.

C). Never Autoplay Videos: You'll always have to click on a video to play it. If you click and play a video while using a mobile data connection, it will use mobile data.

Note: You may need to click a video to play it, even if your autoplay settings are On Mobile Data and Wi-Fi Connections. This could happen if the mobile connection is slow or if you've used a large amount of mobile data recently.

On Android Phone

Go to Settings and scroll down until you find Facebook. Tap on it and then tap Settings. Next, tap on the Autoplay setting and choose either Wi-Fi only or Off so you don't use a big chunk of your monthly data allotment on Facebook videos.

Facebook

Facebook is the largest social networking site in the world, with 750+ million active users as of July 2011. Marketers are increasingly paying attention to Facebook since the audience is so large and engaged.
Marketers can reach people by direct Facebook advertising or by non-advertising avenues (social media marketing and/or content marketing).
Advertising on Facebook, like on most social network sites, is known for having a very low CTR. But as long as ads are CPC, i.e. payment based only on clicks, CTR is not relevant to ROI. On the plus side, Facebook has powerful targeting options such as location, language, likes and interests, connections, demographics and advanced demographics. The better the targeting options, the more opportunity to test and improve. How to stop autoplay video in Facebook app.

Facebook is a popular free social networking website that allows registered users to create profiles, upload photos and video, send messages and keep in touch with friends, family and colleagues. The site, which is available in 37 different languages, includes public features such as:

A). Marketplace - allows members to post, read and respond to classified ads.

B). Groups - allows members who have common interests to find each other and interact.

C). Vents - allows members to publicize an event, invite guests and track who plans to attend.

D). Pages - allows members to create and promote a public page built around a specific topic.

E). Presence technology - allows members to see which contacts are online and chat.

Within each member's personal profile, there are several key networking components. The most popular is arguably the Wall, which is essentially a virtual bulletin board. Messages left on a member's Wall can be text, video or photos. Another popular component is the virtual Photo Album. Photos can be uploaded from the desktop or directly from a smartphone camera. There is no limitation on quantity, but Facebook staff will remove inappropriate or copyrighted images.  An interactive album feature allows the member's contacts (who are called generically called "friends") to comment on each other's photos and identify (tag) people in the photos. Another popular profile component is status updates, a microblogging feature that allows members to broadcast short Twitter-like announcements to their friends. All interactions are published in a news feed, which is distributed in real-time to the member's friends.

Facebook offers a range of privacy options to its members.  A member can make all his communications visible to everyone, he can block specific connections or he can keep all his communications private. Members can choose whether or not to be searchable, decide which parts of their profile are public, decide what not to put in their news feed and determine exactly who can see their posts. For those members who wish to use Facebook to communicate privately, there is a message feature, which closely resembles email.

In May 2007, Facebook opened up its developers' platform to allow third-party developers to build applications and widgets that, once approved, could be distributed through the Facebook community. In May 2008, Facebook engineers announced Facebook Connect, a cross-site initiative that allows users to publish interactions on third-party partner sites in their Facebook news feed. How to stop autoplay video in Facebook app.

Social networking

Social networking is the practice of expanding the number of one's business and/or social contacts by making connections through individuals, often through social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Google+.
Based on the six degrees of separation concept (the idea that any two people on the planet could make contact through a chain of no more than five intermediaries), social networking establishes interconnected online communities (sometimes known as social graphs) that help people make contacts that would be good for them to know, but that they would be unlikely to have met otherwise.
Depending on the social media platform, members may be able to contact any other member. In other cases, members can contact anyone they have a connection to, and subsequently anyone that contact has a connection to, and so on. Some services require members to have a preexisting connection to contact other members.
While social networking has gone on almost as long as societies themselves have existed, the unparalleled potential of the Web to facilitate such connections has led to an exponential and ongoing expansion of that phenomenon. In addition to social media platforms, the capacity for social interaction and collaboration is increasingly built into business applications. How to stop autoplay video in Facebook app.

Difference between bandwidth and latency

Difference between bandwidth and latency Difference between bandwidth and latency is something that confuses a lot of people, but if you are an IT person it would be useful to know the difference between the two because sooner or later you will face a network problem related to it. Part of the confusion has been created by Internet providers by always recommending increase of bandwidth to Internet speed related problem, but as we will see, an Internet connection speed is not always dictated by bandwidth. This part is very important. What is difference between bandwidth and latency? I will give you an analogy to make it easier to understand it if you are still confused. Imagine a highway with 4 lanes where the speed limit is 70 mph. Now on the Internet, bandwidth is the highway, and latency is the 70 mph speed limit. Now if you want to increase the amount of cars that travels through the highway you can add more lanes, but because the highway has too many curves, and

10 things that android phones can do, apple iPhone can`t do

10 things that android phones can do, apple iPhone can`t do Android and iOS both operating systems offer a lot of features (most of them commonly found in both), there are always a few that are exclusively available on that OS. Here are 10 such features available on Android, but missing from iPhones' operating system. Compatible with all Android devices operating on Jelly Bean or higher, this feature is still missing for iPhones. What is DNS?

What is DNS? The Domain Name System (aka DNS) is used to resolve human-readable hostnames like www.notesshow.blogspot.in into machine-readable IP addresses like 204.13.248.115. DNS also provides other information about domain names, such as mail services. But why is DNS important? How does it work? What else should you know? History of the DNS When the Internet was still in its infancy when you wanted to visit a website you had to know the IP address of that site. That’s because computers are and were only able to communicate using numbers. It’s long, hard to remember, and we (humans, I presume) are not robots. We needed a way to translate computer-readable information into human-readable. And it had to be fast, lightweight. DNS In the early 1980’s, Paul Mockapetris came up with a system that automatically mapped IP addresses to domain names. And the DNS was born. This same system still serves as the backbone of the modern Internet, today. And yet, only a small subs
